Promuovere e divulgare la storia dell’informatica personale è l’obiettivo del Vintage Computer Festival Italia 2018 (www.vintagecomputerclubitalia.it/VCFI2018), che si terrà a Roma il 28 e 29 aprile presso il Complesso Ex Cartiera Latina: un evento a ingresso gratuito che, oltre a presentare una grande esposizione di computer storici dalle origini agli anni ’90, offre importanti momenti di divulgazione, ospiti internazionali, grandi personaggi della storia del computer ed eventi speciali da non perdere.
La sala conferenze, ospiterà un ricco programma di interventi, testimonianze e momenti di discussione aperti a tutti. Tra gli ospiti Gastone Garziera (che interverrà raccontando la nascita dell’Olivetti Programma 101) e Lee Felsenstein (padre del Sol 20, progettista dell'Osborne One, e moderatore dell’Homebrew Computer Club).
